Pay your deposit online
Please contact us to book your trip before sending us any money.
Here you can pay a deposit to us either by bank transfer, Paypal or Credit/Debit card.
You can also now pay by card on your phone by using the QR code system further down this page.
If you're paying your deposit by the bank transfer method or by card through the QR code system there are no extra charges so you just need to send your deposit amount, paying by Paypal or a card using the Paypal system is quite costly for a small business so we have to add a small percentage to help cover our costs.
To keep these costs as low as possible we don't ask you to pay us online for your whole trip just your deposit only but you can pay the full cost of your trip into our bank account if you wish to do so, any balance payment is to be paid in cash on board the boat on the day of your trip or you can now pay with your phone while on board Osprey II by scanning our SumUp QR code and entering your card details. If your phone isn't capable of scanning QR codes please bring cash with you on the day as we have no other ways of taking payments on board the boat.
Please note: If you cancel your booking and we are not able to rebook the boat or if you miss your trip by arriving late or not arriving at all your deposit will not be refunded unless previously agreed by us. If we have to cancel your booking due to the marine weather forecast or sea conditions not being suitable for the trip to go ahead or for any other reason we can either refund your deposit or try to arrange your trip for another day if there is one that's suitable, whichever you prefer. Deposits will also be refunded if either you or us have to cancel a booking due to the coronavirus or the restrictions caused by it.

Online banking
You can send a payment dire​ct to our bank account by bank transfer, there are no extra charges when paying this way so it's better for both you and us. We only require your deposit payment at the time of booking but you can pay the whole cost of your trip this way if you wish to do so, just contact us to confirm the total amount to pay if you're not sure.

To pay a £50 deposit for your Fishing/Charter trip using Paypal or a Credit/Debit card on the Paypal system please click the button below which opens up a Paypal webpage where you can choose to pay either by Paypal or your Credit/Debit card. Paying this way uses the Paypal service which isn't cheap for a small business and we have to add a percentage charge to help cover the costs. This extra service charge does not form part of your fishing trip payment and is not refundable to us either, however if we have to cancel your booking due to the marine weather forecast or sea conditions not being suitable for the trip to go ahead or for any other reason, we will refund your deposit in full including the service charge.

After paying this way could you please send Greg a quick message with your surname, date/month of your trip and the last 4 numbers of your card so I can match the deposit payment to your booking. Example: Smith dd/mm, 1234. The last 4 numbers of your card are all that SumUp show us as a reference for the payment, they don't even show your name. This QR code payment system is also now an available option for paying the remaining balance on board Osprey II if you don't have cash with you on the day.
After you have booked your fishing trip
When you make a booking with us we will confirm the details of the trip and give you a start time for you to be on board the boat at Keyhaven, directions for getting to Keyhaven and where to find the boat when you get there are all on the "Where to find us" page. You will also be asked to phone us at 7.00pm the night before your trip to confirm that the marine weather forecast and sea conditions are suitable for your trip to go ahead, PLEASE REMEMBER TO DO THIS!!! as our trips are fished on the open sea and we have to take notice of the weather forecasts to ensure your safety and enjoyment during the fishing trip.
Our decision on whether or not a trip goes ahead is based on our reading of the latest marine weather forecasts for the strength of the wind, our knowledge of the localised weather conditions and also our years of experience taking people fishing in our local waters, it's not just a matter of whether the sun is shining or not so please remember to phone us to check all is ok. Our aim is to give our customers an enjoyable and above all safe fishing trip so if we are forced to cancel a trip please try to understand that we make the decision with your best interests in mind. If your fishing trip is booked as a birthday present it is always a good idea to have a "plan B" in mind for your day, just in case the weather conditions prevent us from taking you out to sea.
